Today if there is any institution which has the greatest influence on us after the family, it is the school. The time that we spend in school are not only time spent in learning and filling our minds with knowledge, but also time spent forming our character, acquiring various attitudes and imbibing basic principles of life. The basic traits of our personality are formed during our school days.
The name of my school is Nguyen Binh Khiem High School. It is situated in the suburb of Hai Phong city. It is considered to be one of the finest schools in the city, highly acclaimed for its excellent for number of talented students. The school building is an impressive structure. It consists of four three – floor blocks and has about 36 classrooms. Classrooms are spacious and airy.
Two staircases at both ends lead to the floors. The school has a well-equipped library, a well- established science laboratory and two excellent computer room, all of which are situated on the a separate block.
There is an area for learning physical education and sports. Two cemented basketball courts stand in the right corner, while the school’s football field is in the center of the area. On the left center, there are two courts for badminton and volleyball. A small garden full of flower plants surrounds the school building adding to the charm and beauty of the entire complex.
My school has over 1200 students. Our headmaster is an experienced and efficient person who has been at his job for the last 10 years and more. Under his able direction, the school has been obtaining many good result and gain the dispute in the city. The teachers here are well-experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects.
A lot of emphasis are given to character formation, moral education and acquiring good values of life. Although the school environment is rather strict and time-table based, but there is lot of fun and joy in the school. Matches, tournaments, musical shows, competitions, events, etc. make my school life lively, interesting and enjoyable.
I am proud to be a student of Nguyen Binh Khiem High school.

I have a closest friend and her name is Mary. She is twelve years old and she is a student at Le Loi secondary school. She s listening to music and she often listen it in her free time.Her favorite subject is English and she good at learning English. Every day she and I go to school together because we are classmates.In the afternoon, she stays at home, so she helps her mother with the housework. She cleans the floor,washes the dishes and waters the flowers in her garden. After that, I and she often play badminton. We will forever be good friends.

I have a bestfiend and also a neighborhood whoes name is Tuan. His age is the same as mine but he looks older than me. Because he’s very tall and thin, everybody calls him “a palm”. Tuan has a short curly hair and beautiful chestnut brown eyes that appeal of many girls. He is a person of very few words that makes him to be a good listener. Anyone, who has ever contacted with Tuan, thinks about him as a glacial boy. In fact he’s really warm and nice. He’s willing to help people whenever possible. When I was in secondary school, I found Math was very difficult to understand but Tuan solved the Math problems so fast. He spent all seven nights of weeks to help me in Math while he could go out to relax. Tuan was a good all-rounder exception English. Most of the teachers in school and parents highly appreaciated his talent. Only a month ago, he received two full scholarships from America Government to study oversea but he has not yet decided whether he should go or not. Although he has not spent much time to take part in sport activities, he is a well football player. We were in Ha Noi Young Football Team when we were in grade 10. Everything seems perfect to my bestfriend but he’s very modest and always talks to himself to give more effort. I’m proud of Tuan and pray for the good things beside him forever.

After stress and pressure in life, one always has a place to come back called home. I love decorating my own bedroom. My bedroom is on the second floor near my parents’ bedroom. There is a double bed for my younger sister and me. I usually lie above her so that it is easier for me to study late at night without annoying her. The room has a big wood wardrobe, which contains all of our clothes such as: dress, jean, t-shirt and sock. Beside, my mother bought us a dressing table on my 15th birthday; therefore, I put all the makeup-stuff and bandeau here. In the corner stand a large bookshelf in order to store books, academic document as well as family passe-partout. Next to it is a table with a desktop so as to help us investigate more knowledge on the internet. My sister and I really enjoy decorating the room with sker such as: mickey, boo bear, hello kitty, angry bird and so on. Beside, we also sk glow-in-the-dark tape on the ceiling and it turn out to light when darkness comes. Moreover, the room is designed with pink and deep blue so it brings us cozy and fresh feeling when putting step into it. The bathroom is in my room too. It is quite small but always clean and restful as we tidy it up every week. My father suggests having a bathtub; however, we don’t agree since we enjoy having a shower instead of lying in tub. Bedroom is a resting place after a hard studying day; hence we always clean it up so that it is neat and comfortable.

In our class , I have many friends but my best friend is Hoan . He is twelve years old . He lives in Phu Phuc village with her parents . He has short black hair . Hoan has a round face . My best friend is Linh.she is 13 years old.she is tall and slim.she has long black hair,a white skin,a round face and big black eyes.she is very funny,she often makes our class laugh.she is also helpful and friendly.in the class,she is a serious and hard-working student.Linh good at many subjects so she helps me a lot.If i have a difficult exercise,she will tell me how to do it. we spend most of our time together. My house is located in a small quiet alley. That’s a pretty pink house which consists of 6 rooms in totally: a living room, a kitchen, a toilet, a bathroom and two bedrooms. There are a white leather sofa, a television and a sideboard in the living room. After dinner, my father will turn on the television, choose a great movie and we watch it happily. Next to the living room is the kitchen where is used for cooking and enjoying the meals. In the middle of the room is a dinner table which is made from wood. Three cookers, a refrigerator and all the neccesary stuff for cooking is arranged carefully in the right corner of the room. In the left of the kitchen is a clean toilet. Beside the toilet is the bathroom which is equipped a shower and a bathtub. There are only two rooms upstairs that is my parents’ room and my private room. I’ve decorated my bedroom with adorable wallpaper and many lovely stuffed animals. A single bed is placed next to the window so that I can stargaze before falling asleep. In the opposite of the bed are my desk and my bookshelf that contain many kinds of book. There are also an old television and a piano in my bedroom. I especially love the piano because that was the gift from dad in my birthday. In every Christmas or Tet holiday, all member of my family ornament the house together and then gather in the kitchen to cooking. Although my house is not too big but to me that is the most beautiful house in the world.

Tôi trang trí phòng của mình bằng giấy dán tường rất ngộ nghĩnh và nhiều thú nhồi bông dễ thương. Chiếc giường đơn được đặt cạnh cửa sổ để tôi có thể ngắm sao trước khi chìm vào giấc ngủ. Đối diện giường là bàn học và kệ sách chứa rất nhiều loại sách. Trong phòng của tôi còn có một chiếc tivi cũ và một chiếc đàn piano. Tôi đặc biệt thích chiếc đàn piano bởi vì đó là món quà mà tôi tặng sinh nhật tôi. Vào mỗi dịp tết hay giáng sinh, tất cả thành viên trong gia đình đều cùng trang trí căn nhà và tập trung dưới bếp để nấu ăn. Mặc dù ngôi nhà của không lớn nhưng đối với tôi đó là ngôi nhà đẹp nhất trên thế giới này.

Of the school things, I like the ruler best. My ruler is 20 cm long. It is blue and that is my favourite colour. My ruler is very useful. It can help me draw straight lines or draw geometry in Maths lessons,... I really love my ruler and I will try to keep it carefully.
Every weekend, my father takes me to the grandparents’ house in the suburb. I am very happy to see them again after a long week and so do they. During war, my grandfather was a solider. He often tells me about his fighting battles, the valuable of freedom and peace. Postwar, he became a postman and also a poet. He wrote many poems but they were never published. Now he is retired so he has a lot of time to plant trees in the garden, take care of his birds and sometimes climb the mountain with his old friends. My grandmother has been a tailor who has more than 40 years’ experience. I really love the blue dress which she herself made for me in my 16th birthday. Besides that, she is a good teller. She tells me about her love stories when she was young. They are beautiful, roman but so sad. In addition, my grandmother is very good at cooking. She knows how to cook many different country dishes that suprises the whole family. While we are enjoying the meal, my grandfather reads poems, my grandmother tells stories and I am a listener. Those are the most happinest moments of my life. In conlusion, I love my grandparents so much, more than anything in the world.
Grandmother is now over 70 year old so she was weak . Their grandmother and her grandmother 's chicken age . Now my grandmothe rjust sat on the old and low wooden talbe . My hair is long but has plenty of white hair
